In order to put in value a corner of the Civic Center of the City of San Carlos de Bariloche, the Municipal Council hired us to design the Sister Cities Plaza.

Thus we designed this space that invites visitors to interact and internalize with the environment, Patagonian material nature and the relationship of brotherhood that our city has with others in the world.

We designed a sculptural bench with the trunks that our municipality picks up from public land: many trees fall because of strong storms. We were inspired by the basaltic stone formations of the region. The result is a playful furniture especially enjoyable by young children.

Native vegetation islands were incorporated thanks to the help of members of the National University of Río Negro.
